Hey bloggers! Hope you had a lovely weekend :)
For todays mani I decided to do some simple freehand nail art. I've used Orange it's Obvious by Essie and drawn a simple feather design using black, white and a shimmer silver.

The finished look with top coat.

Today's manicure is one of my favourite deep purple shades called Purple Rain by Rimmel Pro. I've used White by Barry M and cheeky plate CH2 to stamp with. The design reminds me of a growing plant and it made me think of the lovely flowers blossoming around us this spring.

Happy Saturday bloggers! It's a lovely sunny day here in London, hope everyone's enjoying the weather :)
Todays manicure is by LA Girl called Ballet. It's a soft baby pink and has a very slight shimmer in it. I didn't feel like stamping on top of this so I've left it plain. I think it's a perfect pastel wear for spring and looks super pretty in the sunlight because it shows off the shimmer. I used a coat of 'hope' by Beauty uk first as a base colour since the pink is very thin, so you would need a few good coats before reaching it's true colour, if used on its own.

So I finally finished my bottle of Seche Vite and as much as it pains me, I will no longer be using this as my top coat. As most of you probably already know, it isn't 3 free (therefore contains at least one of the 3 big toxic chemicals used in polishes - DBP, formaldehyde and formulene). The box itself has a warning sign stating that it is "known to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm". Unfortunately, I was unaware of this fact when I first purchased it, however now that I know I don't feel comfortable using it. It will defiantly be missed as I have never come across another fast dry top coat that is so amazingly chip resistant, but I'm replacing it with Sally Hansen Diamond Flash and keeping my fingers crossed for similar results! I'll let you know what I make of it :)

Spring is officially here and it's time to bring back the peaches and pinks! Today's manicure is by sinful colors called Island coral. It's a perfect spring wear! I've also used Barry M White on my accent nail and used cheeky plate CH12 to stamp on some simple spring flowers :)

After two coats - taken in natural daylight.
