Happy Midweek readers! Today's manicure is simple but super pretty. I've used kiko 334 as my base colour which is like an indigo/dark purple shade. It's highly pigmented so you could get away with one thick coat, however I've used two coats here as always.

The Maxfactor Maxeffect Fantasy fire is an iridescent purple with mainly red and gold shimmer but when you turn the bottle you see flashes of many other embedded colours, which is what makes it so pretty. The polish is intended for layering so it's very thin, especially if you were to apply it on its own (would need at least 3-4 coats to get it opaque). I will definatly be experimenting with this polish using different base colours to see what tones are created.

Two coats of kiko 334.

One coat of Maxfactor - Fantasy Fire.

Taken with flash to capture the fine glitters.

Can see the lovely red shimmer in this close up.  The pictures don't do the polish justice!
You have to see for yourself!

Close up of bottle so you can see the amazing glitters embedded within.

I absolutely couldn't wait to open and use my new MoYou Suki collection 07 plate. If I could, I would buy them all because they've got the most amazing, artistic designs. The base colour used is by OPI - Lincoln park after dark and I've used Barry M - Silver foil to stamp with.

The finished look.

Happy weekend everyone! Today I wanted to share with you a gorgeous winter shade from kiko. It's a light grey shade perfect for this gloomy grey weather in London. I managed to get it for just £2.50 in the sales along with a few others I'll share with you later. I've applied 2 even coats for a full coverage and it has a creme like consistency.

After 2 coats of polish and seche vite top coat.

I've stamped the accent nail with cheeky plate CH6 and Barry M - Silver foil. Oh and I finally figured out how to do a curved watermark around the nail - YAY!! :D
