Hey everyone! Today's mani is from the Autumn/Winter 2012 collection by Nails Inc, called Richmond Terrace - a dark chocolaty brown shade (even though it is described as a rich plum). I've applied two coats here for a thick, full coverage.

December and Christmas are just around the corner so I thought I would create and participate in my first very own Nail Art Challenge. Being Hindu, I don't actually celebrate Christmas but I can still paint my nails festive right? :) I would be honored if anyone takes part in this challenge and if you do, don't forget to link back to me by hashtaging #milimanicure and #12dayscc. Can't wait to see all your creations!

Happy Polishing :)
So, it's absolutely freezing in London this week and it's not even officially winter yet! :( But I guess it means it's time for my first winter manicure. I don't really know what to call this but it reminds me of a frosty waterfall and snowy icicles. The base colour I've used here is called Royal blue by Angelica. It's blended with super fine blue pearl glitters so it has a slight shimmer to it. I used a nail art brush to create the stripes (all the polishes used are named below).

The finished look, taken in natural sunlight without flash.

Here's another one of my favourite fall colours - it's called Purple rain by Rimmel. I've used LA Colors - metallic purple on my accent nail and stamped with cheeky plate CH16.
You already know that LA colors are all 99p but I managed to get this Rimmel polish for an amazing £1, again from poundland! I love the Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro collection because it has a wider brush which makes application really smooth and easy. A simple and elegant look, hope you like it :)

HAPPY DIWALI & NEW YEAR to all my fellow indian bloggers! :D Hope you all had a wonderful time celebrating with loved ones and ate lots of yummy food! It's been a crazy few days with preparations so I haven't had the chance or time to paint my nails all fancy :( Nevertheless here's a quick fix to that problem - Crackle polish! I went for a red and gold theme since it's the perfect colour combo for all indian events. I've used OPI - Gold shatter and OPI Big apple red.

Finished look with top coat. I noticed that one thin even coat of crackle polish gives a much better
effect than a thick coat.

Daylight shot.

I'm going to let you all in on a big SECRET! To all my UK bloggers and nail addicts, you will never believe that the OPI crackle I've used in this manicure cost me £1! YES you heard right! Poundland are now selling OPI, Revlon, Maybelline, Collection 2000, Sally Henson, and Rimmel nail polishes (very limited colours of course) all for £1! Now that's what you call a bargain!

Hey peeps! Was meant to post this yesterday but didn't get a chance so I apologise for the delayed post. FINALLY it's the last pink manicure of the month! I cannot tell you how relieved I am to know I can paint other colours again! :) Hope you all raised plenty awareness and don't forget to show your ongoing support to Cancer Research UK.

I've chosen to do a white to pink gradient with some fine glitter. It's also mine and ninanails first attempt at 'bestietwinnails'. (Take a look at my instagram milimanicure for more details).

The finished look (without flash).

With Flash - can see the glitter more clearly.

The pinks I've used for this look are from the Beauty UK Paintforlife collection.

From left to right: LA Colors - French White, Beauty uk - love, Beauty uk - strengh, LA Colors - Sassy sparkle
and Seche Vite - top coat.

STOP! Before you leave don't forget to be a part of the fight against cancer - share, fundraise, donate. Remember every action counts!
