'Get your Number' is one of the four polishes featured in the OPI Mariah Carey Liquid Sand Collection. I know I'm late in getting this but I was lucky enough to win the bid on ebay and got it for an amazing £3.99. This is the first time I've used textured polish and I must say this is my favourite one out of the four (maybe because my favourite colour is blue!) It's extremely sparkly with chunkier glitter bits making it super fun for summer and the sandy effect is pretty cool too! You definitely need a minimum of two coats to see the brightness of the colour and to get the best textured finish.

Two coats (no top coat). Nails are shorter since one of them chipped :(

Hey lovelies! Hope you're all spending some quality time with your dads today! :)
Today I want to share a very pretty summer shade; it's by Sinful Colors called Island Coral. They have a great collection and what's even better is that they're only £1.99! I've applied two even coats here for an opaque coverage. Hope you like it as much as I do!

Since it finally felt like summer in London last week, I saw some amazing evening sunsets and just couldn't resist doing a bright sunset inspired gradient manicure. I chose to use the colours yellow, orange and pink for the gradient and used white as a base colour to allow the colours to stand out. I spiced it up a little by adding some black zebra stripes on top. (If you've never done a gradient manicure before then check out a few videos on youtube, it's really easy even for first timers!)

The finished look - I added the top coat straight after I finished sponging for a smoother gradient and also to avoid smudging the black lines after.

Two coats of sponging finished with a top coat.

Hey guys!

Today I wanted to share a polish I got from the Nails Inc. lucky dip - it's called Gatwick and it's a matte red (even the bottle is matte, how cool!!). I love a matte finish polish but the only downfall is that it won't stay for long since you can't apply a top coat to it, and if you use hand cream regularly then it will slowly lessen the matte finish over time. It dries very quickly and two coats is enough to get an even, smooth coverage since the colour is well pigmented. It's simple and classy.. you can't go wrong!
